On Tuesday (27OCT26), Nallian’s TVM landside management solution went live in Prague and Vancouver as collaborative effort with ground handling agent Menzies Aviation and its local airport stations. Nallian’s Truck Visit Management (TVM) is a capacity-driven landside air cargo orchestration and dock-scheduling platform designed to digitize and streamline truck flows, gate access, and warehouse performance. The tool checks and verifies shipment data and paperwork before the truck arrives at the warehouse, making supply chains faster and more efficient. We spoke with Joke Aerts (JA), Director Marketing at Nallian, about the product launch at PRG an YVR.

CFG: How were PRG and YVR chosen as roll-out stations?
JA: Menzies strategically chose to commence TVM in gateways that were conducive to change and experiencing cargo growth.
CFG: How long does it take to prepare stations for roll-out? How are users onboarded?
JA: Preparing a station for rollout typically takes 6–8 weeks. This includes the initial project kick-off, internal training for operational teams, onboarding and training of external stakeholders such as freight forwarders and trucking companies, and change management activities.
The software itself is ready to use, so the main focus is on preparing the people and processes rather than the technology. We take the time to ensure that everyone involved understands not only how to use the platform, but also why it is being introduced and the benefits it brings to their daily operations.
This approach helps ensure a smooth transition, encourages user adoption, and allows stations to realize the full operational benefits of the solution from the start.
User onboarding is a collaborative process between Nallian and the local Menzies station. For each implementation, a dedicated community manager is appointed from the local Menzies team. This person acts as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, including freight forwarders and trucking companies, and helps coordinate their onboarding.
CFG: How are employees being prepared for the new TVM system?
JA: Together with the community manager, we organize an introductory webinar for the wider forwarder and trucking community. During this session, we explain what Truck Visit Management (TVM) is, why it is being introduced, and the benefits it brings to their daily operations. We also explain how users can register for training.
Following the webinar, we offer multiple training sessions at different times to accommodate participants’ availability. These sessions provide hands-on guidance on using TVM, including how to create and manage bookings and navigate the platform.
The goal is not simply to introduce new software, but to ensure that users understand its value and feel confident using it in their daily operations. By combining early communication, local engagement, and practical training, we aim to make the transition as smooth as possible and encourage adoption across the entire cargo community.
CFG: What kind of numbers are we looking at regarding truck movements per day/week at these two airports?
JA: Confidential, unable to disclose.
CFG: Does the TVM also come in different languages – e.g. Czech and French, in these cases?
JA: Yes, TVM is a multilingual platform. It allows adaptation to the language needs of different stations, their local forwarders, and trucking communities. It currently supports English, German, Dutch, Greek, and Czech, with Czech already available for the Prague rollout. Additional languages can easily be added on request.
CFG: Any kind of roll-out celebrations being held?
JA: Not yet. 😊
