Heiner Siegmund

Heiner Siegmund stepped into the cargo business as sales manager at Kuehne & Nagel, Montreal, Canada. Back in his hometown Hamburg, Germany, he studied political science, economy and geography. After, he worked for the Radio Station NDR and covered aviation and cargo topics for various transport magazines as well as national and international media such as Die WELT. In 2012 he founded the online portal CargoForwarder Global which started with 600 subscribers and now has 23,000 users. In addition to covering exciting daily cargo topics, he is particularly interested in commercial issues in air freight and innovations aimed at decarbonizing the industry.
