Lionel van der Walt is Nallian’s new CCO

Monday 01JUL24 sees Lionel van der Walt take up his role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) over at cargo IT Services and IT Consulting expert, Nallian. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, he has been called in to drive the company’s growth strategy and expansion – in particular across North America, a region he knows well from his time as Global Chief Commercial Officer and CEO Americas at PayCargo, as well as from when he was President at Cargo Network Services (CNS) in the U.S. He now joins Nallian over from Raft, where he was Chief Growth Officer. He has, in the past, held various leadership roles at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), worked at South African Airways, been an air traffic controller and served in the South African Air Force.

Van der Walt brings a great deal of international experience, having lived and worked in South Africa, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the Americas, along with a solid background in the logistics and supply chain industry. He is well known in the air cargo industry for his talents in driving innovation, encouraging market adoption, and building strategic partnerships.
