Delhi-based IT provider, CargoFlash, has succeeded in gaining Qatar Airways Cargo’s interest for its Octoloop cargo booking platform in India. The airline has chosen Octoloop since it offers customers another digital booking channel, and one that includes wallet service. The roll-out in India began with the launch of Octoloop on India’s national day: 15AUG24. A gradually increasing amount of freight forwarders in Delhi and Mumbia (initially) are being given the opportunity to view and book cargo capacity on Qatar Airways Cargo’s extensive network. For the airline, the extra booking channel helps to bring greater efficiency into sales and operations. Octoloop’s platform includes features such as real time rates with dynamic pricing, instant capacity bookings, revenue enhancement opportunities, and opens up the market to include SME perhaps not currently having access to the airline.
Faisal Karamat, Vice President Cargo Customer Experience at Qatar Airways Cargo, commented: “Adopting Octoloop aligns perfectly with our goals to maximize our reach in markets and offer superior service to our customers enrolled via the pay module. This tool will not only enhance our customer base but also support our growth ambitions in the Indian market. Digitalization is a key pillar of our strategy and by providing our customers in India with another option to book online via Octoloop, we are enhancing our omni-channel offering too.”
Jasraj Chug, Co-Founder and Director of Cargo Flash, said: “Our collaboration with Qatar Airways Cargo marks a milestone in digital logistics. Octoloop is designed to transform cargo operations by enhancing efficiency and connectivity. We are excited to see how this partnership will greatly benefit the logistics ecosystem in India.”
