Uzbekistan-based My Freighter has expanded its cargo operations by launching a direct route between Tashkent and Hangzhou, China. The service debuted on 01JUL25, when a Boeing 767-300 freighter transported over 50 tons of goods including essentials, textiles, and high-value products. Regular services will now offer an important trade connection between Central Asia and eastern China. Scheduled for up to five weekly flights, this new service is designed to support businesses in sectors such as e-commerce, textiles, and consumer electronics – all of which rely on fast supply chains with Chinese partners. With Hangzhou – a key center for manufacturing and logistics – now being part of My Freighter’s growing network, the market gains new export-import opportunities and can streamline certain trade routes. Uzbekistan’s freight forwarders will be filling the outgoing China flights with fresh fruit and assorted agricultural products, thus further stimulating cross-border trade. Hangzhou airport authorities have committed to faster customs clearance and lower logistics costs so as to facilitate smoother cargo movement. This new Hangzhou route joins My Freighter’s other Chinese destinations which include Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Macau. In recent months, the airline has signed agreements with partners such as Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Icelandair Cargo, Aeromexico, and Air Europa, and continues to expand its fleet. By adding Hangzhou, My Freighter reinforces its role as a key link in the evolving logistics chain between East and West, providing essential support for the growing flow of goods between Uzbekistan and China – according to its release.
