Rhenus appoints Peter Nordstrom as CEO for NA Air & Ocean

Peter Nordstrom has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Rhenus Group’s Air & Ocean division in North America. In this role, he will guide operations across the region and ensure they align with the company’s overarching global strategy.

Bringing over 25 years of international experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management, Nordstrom has a strong history of driving transformation, boosting operational performance, and fostering growth in markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. His career includes senior leadership posts at Ceva Logistics, Geodis, Kuehne+Nagel, and, most recently, serving as Executive Vice President of Ocean Freight Americas at DB Schenker. 

As North America CEO for Air & Ocean, Nordstrom will focus on strengthening the division’s presence in Canada and the United States, improving efficiency, expanding market share, and accelerating business growth. He will report directly to Jan Harnish, Member of the Board for Air & Ocean.
